Our popular Orchid Day returns for another relaxed and informative day dedicated to orchid care, led by Chris Channon, retired professional orchid grower and RHS Gold Medallist.
Chris’s talks last around forty minutes and are suitable for both beginners and experienced growers. He will cover the essentials of orchid care in a clear, accessible way, including:
* Choosing the best position for your orchid at home
* What to look for when buying a healthy plant
* How to encourage re-flowering

Each talk is followed by a Q&A session, offering the chance to ask questions and get expert advice on all aspects of orchid care.
Throughout the day, Chris will also be available to give individual orchids a brief “health check” and offer personalised care advice. There will be a live demonstration of orchid repotting, with a repotting service available on the day for £3.00 per orchid, or free with the purchase of a new pot and a bag of Orchid Focus Repotting Mix.
The talks are free, but booking is advised to ensure seating.
