Santa's Elves - Grotto Assistants

Job Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Seasonal Elves to join our festive team! As a Seasonal Elf, you will be responsible for creating a magical holiday experience for children and families. You’ll help bring the North Pole to life by assisting Santa in his Grotto, interacting with visitors, and ensuring everyone leaves with joyful memories.

Role Overview:

  • Engage with Children and Families: Welcome visitors to the Grotto, interacting with children in a friendly, engaging, and playful manner while ensuring parents feel included in the experience.
  • Assist Santa: Help manage the flow of visitors, organize gifts, and ensure Santa has everything he needs to make each visit special.
  • Create a Festive Atmosphere: Contribute to a warm and magical holiday ambiance through your character, costume, and positive energy.
  • Ensure Smooth Operations: Manage waiting lines, assist with photos, and help keep the Grotto clean and organised.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  1. Enthusiastic: A passion for spreading holiday cheer and energy to engage with children and families in a fun and lively manner.
  2. Great Communication Skills: Ability to engage and communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
  3. Reliable and Punctual: We need elves who can commit to their scheduled hours and be on time, ensuring smooth operations during busy holiday periods.
  4. Team Player: Able to work well with Santa, other elves, and the wider team to create a seamless experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service, childcare, or events is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours during the holiday season.

Costume: Full Elf costume will be provided (costume fitting required).
